How many of you use PayPal in transactions over the net? Are they safe. Do they offer charge backs if meds are not recieved? Would tey prevent a "rip-off" so to speak? Do they charge a fee for the account usage? I am clueless as I have never used it before. Help

I use Paypal alot. No, they don't charge a fee to my knowledge to use it, although I have only used Paypal to send money, not receive, so not sure about a fee for all the options. I have never had a problem at all with PP, have used it for OPs as well as many other shopping sites. I think they will help you in the event of non-receipt of goods, although I have never had to use this option either. If you go to their site, you should be able to find help topics that cover any/all of your questions.

The buyer (person sending money) never pays a fee. The seller (person recieving funds) pays a fee - usually around 3%, depending on what type of account they have. I use paypal frequently (sending and recieving $), and I find it to be VERY convenient. I've only had to do a chargeback twice, and it was very easy. As long as you do it within 30 days, you have an excellent chance of retreiving your lost funds. They also keep track of sellers with excessive chargebacks, so if someone wants to continue to use paypal, they will probably try to be accomodating (and I do mean PROBABLY..there are always exceptions!) But overall I find it very easy and secure to use paypal.

I use paypal quite a bit. I donate to a couple of sites that I frequent, I buy things on Ebay, and once or twice sent money to my son. I've never had a problem, but I also only deal with transactions of 50 bucks or less (but not because of any fear of pay-pal, it's budget related)

I use paypal here and there as I am also an ebayer. I feel that it is pretty safe. I never had any transaction go wrong before using paypal. I have bought meds in the past with paypal before pharmasus went belly up. They did give me an option for a small fee of protecting my purchase which I declined since I did not want to pay the fee and pharmasus at that time was trustworthy. As far as keeping my paypal account I do not pay a fee for that.

Ive used Paypal quite a bit and haven't paid a fee. I think like someone said before the seller has to pay a small fee. If you look on their website it might say about chargebasck for non receipt but Im ure Ive seen that you can do it.

The seller only pays a fee with an upgraded account. I upgraded mine because it makes it a lot easier to sell on ebay if your account takes credit cards.
