What is their story? I received an e-mail from erxonline saying that they've have pain meds on back order for 6 days...does anyone have positive/negative experience with them as a pharmacy...i did a search and didn't find any too specific information...thanks.

Yes, Pharmnet fills scripts for other OP's besides ErX - PC.Com probably being the biggest that they fill for. And on all the boards I have not seen anyone with PC.Com that has been told this. So it seems Pharmnet is only giving this 'we're out of pain meds' story to ErX patients for some reason..... Why? I dont know. I dont use ErX - but from reading all the threads this seems to be the case. They seem to be becoming reluctant to fill scripts for ErX if you ask me.

I also can't possible see a pharmacy running altogether out of pain meds for 6 days. That's crazy. Couldn't take more than a day or two to re-stock. And out of ALL pain meds?? I don't think so.... I think there is some problem going on between ErX/PNet - sounds like a tall tale to me or a stall tactic of some sort. Maybe they are about to cut ties with ErX. Sorry to be a pessimist. I hope you get your order. I do know Pharmnet is currently and has been this whole time shipping out pain meds to people who used different consult services , from reading peoples' posts - I am not personally using an OP that uses pharmnet at the present time - but I read all the posts and this is the picture I get.

Sounds odd to me. I just received my refill order for hydro 10/500's about an hour ago from pc.com who use Pharmanet. I have never received an email like this...nor have I had any problems with pc.com or Pharmanet. Are you with another op that uses pharmanet? Maybe there is an issue (like Zeus said) with the relation between your op and the actual pharmacy. Don't know...but, keep us posted!

Im almost postive that the problem lies within ERX. Pharmanet also deal with YFD and NWW which we all know are very very busy, After reading the above posts Im convinced that Pharmanet would rather fill for a ''more secure'' OP than erx. I won't use ERX for obvious reasons one of them being the issue explained above. I was speaking to few people who have recived from pharmanet in the past 48 hours so I know thier pharmacy isn't ''short'' on pain meds, its probably 85% of thier stock....How can they run out????they can't...

I worked retail pharmacy for years. It is not uncommon to run out of a medication and then have it back ordered from the wholesaler. We used to call the doctor and change the prescription to something we could have. The situation usually gets resolved in 7 to 10 days.

I called ERX today and asked them about this 6 day back order.
They said that last week the pharmacy was low on certain hydro's and it looked like it would be 6 days before it came in. However now they said that they restocked and there is no shortage of any meds. The auto-email is being generated and they haven't turned it off yet. My hydro was said to be at the pharmacy today (ordered yesterday ).
FYI
By the way ERX answers the phone right away now instead of the press 1 for this and press 2 for that.

ERX=erxonline.com
pc.com-prescriptionconsultation.com
nww=norcoworldwide.com
There are more you can pick 'em up from the US list basically.They are a good about getting meds out asap.I have never seen them send "a out of this med" notice.I think the fact they are used by so many other OPs with no problems should say something.
