Go to http://world.altavista.com/tr and you can enter the URL and it will translate the entire site for you. It may help find some hard to locate meds or read sites like http://farmakos.com/
Good luck everyone!

If a site does not have an Anglais or English flag button on their site, (speaking of OPs) they probably do not welcome the business of foreigners. You can translate all you like (and those trans will comeout really wierd, I guarantee you) but if you place an order, chances are good that their response will be "oh goody, free money."

Some of the sites with the English flag or other link indicating an English translation still dont lead to a site that is readable and the translator can help. At least its helped me and I though maybe someone would find it help full as well.

Sorry to seem rude. My medication is being adjusted right now, but that's no excuse for being a bitch. If you've had success ordering from sites like this than you have just given a really cool tip.

No problem at all. I understand the meds being adjusted thing and it can be really rough. They're adjusting my ADD meds now and my pain doc want me to try some non-narcotic thing after I've been on the same combo for years so I understand.

Just an idea, but I assume you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer. If so, then you can go to microsoft.com and to the updates section and usually download several dozen various language translators for your local browser to decipher these websites. Although this may require the website to be complient with IE, it would be worth a shot.

I find the Altavista translator most useful. Sure the translations are not perfect but I can at least understand the jist of what is written. On the farmakos.com web site which I am so far very happy with. I initially had some concerns about the honesty of the company and the English page basically says "to order, e-mail..." that's it, but in translating the Spanish pages I found political rhetoric railing against the drug companies and championing the rights of the consumer to obtain generic drugs in regards to some new legislation in Argentina. I also found a page where the site provided a forum for impoverished patients to solicit charitable contributions of medication they desperately needed. Having the translation gave me a much better feel for what this business was all about. I definitely got the impression this was the work of a opinionated medical professional and not of a two bit scam artist. I suspect a scam page would be in perfect English. So despite Altavistas imperfections, the translator is a most useful utility.

Thanks so much for this NYer. I had asked for this very information on another thread about Farmakos. So, I guess you have to email them for a price list? Unless some kind soul on here wants to PM me one, if he/she happens to have one saved?
