I find the Altavista translator most useful. Sure the translations are not perfect but I can at least understand the jist of what is written. On the farmakos.com web site which I am so far very happy with. I initially had some concerns about the honesty of the company and the English page basically says "to order, e-mail..." that's it, but in translating the Spanish pages I found political rhetoric railing against the drug companies and championing the rights of the consumer to obtain generic drugs in regards to some new legislation in Argentina. I also found a page where the site provided a forum for impoverished patients to solicit charitable contributions of medication they desperately needed. Having the translation gave me a much better feel for what this business was all about. I definitely got the impression this was the work of a opinionated medical professional and not of a two bit scam artist. I suspect a scam page would be in perfect English. So despite Altavistas imperfections, the translator is a most useful utility.
