I know about RxList.com and others, but how does a person find out what a pill is if there is absolutely NOTHING on it. Just a little round/scored pill... no numbers, no letters. Hep me hep me hep me?!?

Take it to a pharmacy; take it to poison control; try to remember where you got it and/or why. Other than that, well, good luck!!

Sometimes tasting it can help...... For example, alprazolam has a very distinct taste[horridly disgusting and vile), as do many other meds....

Hmmm, that would be a bad idea for people like me. I tend to have allergies to meds. I guess most folks that are like me would know it... but what if someone didn't know and had a reaction?
Then you'd not only look like a puffy mushroom (another thing I'm allergic to) but you wouldn't know what it was you were reacting to.
And then you'd walk into the ER and say - I licked this pill I found, and now I'm having trouble breathing. May I have a shot of epi and please ID this pill for me?
That is the day you would walk out of the ER without a note in your record saying "drug seeking."
That is the day they will put a note in your record that says dork.

Can you describe the pill? Size? Color? Anything else?
Where did you find this pill? Does it look familiar(maybe it was an old script)?

Ordered from an online OP (rather not say which at this time). But it's round, white, scored... a bit bigger and thicker than Lomotil. That's it?!?! No numbers or letters or anything. I prolly should just pitch 'em.

Online as in US or International? I remember my folks having some paperback book called the pill book - don't know if that is what they called it or if that is what the name of the book actually was. It had color pictures - enlarged - of a ton of pills... Maybe if you go to Barnes & Noble and get a tall latte skim add hazelnut, and just hang out on one of their comfy chairs for a while with a pile of books.....
Or - see if anyone else has ordered the same thing from the same place, take a picture of it if you have a digital camera and see if it is the same.
I don't know... I don't know how much you spent, but the last thing anyone wants is for you to get sick...
