Hi! I placed an order with medsmex on 02/24/05....got a shipment confirmation on 03/09/05. (kind of long if you ask me)...anyway....still nothing. I have now emailed them 3 times asking for some kind of status or comment regarding the fact that I haven't received anything yet. I haven't received a single response to any of my 3 emails. I have more than waited their prescribed time that their orders are supposed to arrive from the time of shipping. I have a really hard time believing customs would have seized what I ordered (zantac & domperidone) so I don't think its that. Do you think I've waited long enough before contacting my credit card company for a charge back?
Thanks!

If it's a prescription drug, I believe it is illegal to import, whatever the schedule (someone correct me if I'm wrong here).
Most credit cards have a 60-day window, I'd find out yours and wait until a week before expiration to file a comlaint, giving the IOP the benefit of the doubt for the moment.

This POST doesn't have anything to do with IOP but the refund- charge back rules. A while back I was in a pinch so I decided to try MEDS IN 24 HOURS; don't ask me why- I don't remember. Anyway the same day my usual ROP came through so I cancelled. It says you CAN cancel minus a 25.00 fee. THat was about 6 months ago. Well, after all that time of e-mails back & forth with them and many promises I sad, "F*** it!'. I called my bank to do a charge back & guess what? Its too late- 60 day rule! Imagine that...I was trying to do as much as I could so I wouldn't have to do a charge back and save the bank money and the bank is saying too bad? 60 days are up? Its BS. MEDS IN 24 HOURS SUCK BIG TIME AND THEY ARE RIPOFF ARTISTS!
BOTTOM LINE- DON'T WAIT MORE THAN 60 DAYS- DON'T GIVE THE COMPANY THE BENEFIT!

zantac's not illegal -- can get it here OTC -- just cheaper on the website (ok, not cheaper if you don't get it at all)
and domperidone you can't get here...but it increases breastmilk supply so i can feed my 2 children......now that's a funny image in my mind. Customs officials thinking they've got something good and they take it and just start lactating.

Do it now.
It can take up to 30 days to be added back to your account.
The IOP has had plenty of time.

Well, then I apoligize! They ARE non-Rx now. My son has acid relux and is prescibed Zantec and after this Rx has run out of refills then he has to buy it OTC. The FED made it OTC I think at the beginning of the year.

zantac is legal...but i suppose this can't stop them from seizing my domperidone so that i won't have enough breast milk and will have to buy formula made by the pharmaceutical companies huh?

It looks like it has been close to a month since it was posted on your credit card. The credit card company wants you to do all you can to work this out with the company before they start the process and sending 3 emails with no reply and waiting a month seems like that's about all you could do at this point. I would start a charge back now. If the company can't prove that merchandise was shipped and you received then it will be charged back. Good luck.

what about drugs like Soma. Uncontrolled, but not available over the counter. Would it be legal to import?

I love that image, I can see some corrupt Customs guy tasting his confiscation...next thing he's "got milk". The funniest things in this life cannot be made up, they occur on their own!
This just shows-to-go-ya there's all types here.
Hydrokid, your Soma might get nabbed by that Customs guy with the 2 wet spots on his shirt...
