Didrex, Adipex, Tenuate, Meridia, Anyone Care To "Weigh In"
      #206193 - 12/08/04 09:36 AM

I'm interested in your experiences with these or any other weight loss medicines. Which do you find the most or least affective? Has anyone tried combining them for better results? Are any more easily potentiated by either supplements, caffeine or other drugs? Is there a way by just looking at, or tasting them to know if they are good or not good quality? Lately, I took Didrex as prescribed for a month and felt absolutely nothing. It didn't affect my energy or appetite at all.

I know drugs affect everyone differently but I would love to hear more about how some of you guys are doing with these diet pills. Thanks for any feedback.

I HAVE USED ADIPEX-P OR IONMIN WITH COFFEE IN THE AM TO GET GOING AND NOT BE HUNGRY, BUT THEY DO NOT WORK FOR ME ANYMORE, I DONT KNOW IF ITS MY AGE OR MY BODY JUST HAS A TOLERANCE TO THEM. I HAVE TAKEN THEM OFF AND ON FOR YEARS IN MY 20' AND 30'S. I STOPPED WHEN I HAD KIDS, THEN I NEEDED TO LOSE SOME BABY WEIGHT AND NOW THEY PUT ME TO SLEEP.
SO NOW I TAKE A ADIPEX WITH COFFEE, AND 1 HYDRO(HYDRO KEEP ME UP, THEY WORK LIKE A STIMULANT TO ME) AND I AM GOOD TO GO.
HOPE THIS HELPS...:>

Tenuate one day, phentermine another. Skip a day, then go back to tenuate. Add short-acting tenuate as needed to supplement. Then soma to sleep!

Hands Down- Didrex is by far the most effective for me. I lossed about 100 lbs within a year's time. However over the six months of not taking it I have re-gained 40 lbs!

I was never hungry while on Didrex. I had to remind myself to eat while taking it... to the point of I started taking vitamins to make up for poor eating habbits that developed while on Didrex. Didrex is not always easy to get though, sometimes it is out of stock.

Of all the generally available stimulant or weight loss medications available on the net in the US ( I challenge anyone to find dextroamphetamine), I have found phendimetrazine to be the qualitatively the smoothest and least to cause unpleasant nervousness. The compound itself is not psychoactive but a portion of it is metabolized in the body to phenmetrazine - a very fine stimulant and dopaminergic agent that has been unfortunately outlawed for many years now. Phendimetrazine requires a larger dosage m and has a slower impact but is decent. The biggest surprise for me has been the amphetamine derivative clobenzorex available as far as I know in Mexico only. It is mild but the body metabolizes it to the Dextro isomer of amphetamine. In equipotent dosages it's very effective. Benzphetamine is a somewhat related amphetamine derivative with another side chain and a chlorine atom much like clobenzorex but I find it and phentermine to be very irritating and caffeine-like. Hope this will help some. Good luck.

After reading this post (#183288), I had to think twice about the physical risks:

"Asenlix/ clobenzorex was banned by FDA after having been strongly linked to high incidence of pulmonary hypertesnion. That means although not a controlled substance here, US citizens are not allowed to import this drug."

Just my 2 cents...

Just my 3-cents:

If Benzphetamine (Didrex) produces an "irritating and caffeine-like" feeling, I would seriously question if the med might not be one of the many counterfeits going around.

Peace

Where would one get Benzphetamine?
