I'm thinking of ordering from orx4less domestic option. They offer 60 or 110 count of valium. If the shipment of 110 is confiscated am I in more serious trouble than if I only order 60? (grey area of 90 day supply?) or am i simply in lots of trouble no matter what? I believe the chance of confiscation is very slight, but I am feeling paranoid these days.

If you get seized you get seized, it won't make any difference how large your order was. The "Personal Use" exemption applies ONLY to meds you personally carry across the border from Canada or Mexico or wherever. You cannot "assign" the right to carry your meds to a third party (IOP).
This is a very big "grey area" as you say.
If a small quantity of Valium gets seized by customs, chances are all that will happen is you will get a customs "love" letter.
But if you use the so called "Domestic Option" then there should be no customs risk at all. Isn't that what you pay extra for?

The reason they have this domestic option is that the shipper is in the US and assumes ALL the risk - so how is something shipped from within this country going to get seized by customs????????????

I didn't mean seized by customs, but somehow intercepted by LE or investigated by shipping co. I guess I'm just being silly. I've ordered from OP/IOP's only a couple of times, but I recently read all the posts about being busted & felt paranoid. Maybe I need an antianxiety drug! Thanks everyone for responding, even tho it was kind of a dumb question!

Uhhhhh...I would have to disagree with you here. I would think that a package that was seized with say....5000 Valium might have much different consequences than one that had 200 in it...we know that many times Customs opens packages of scheduled drugs and lets them through without any problem, but if someone were to have a HUGE order seized, I would think that it would automatically be looked upon as an 'intent to distibute' by LE. Although God knows with the way things go with IOP's, if the price was right, it WOULD be tempting to order 5000 Valium, just to stockpile them..LOL.

Customs is federal LE. They cooperate with other federal, state, and local LE ... usually, by offering it to the local Drug Task Force which can decide to do a controlled delivery, which is almost guaranteed for 5000 tablets.
If you get a package from overseas, Customs is the only LE that can always open it without a search warrant.

Well you're right about that. The only Postal seizure I ever read about involved someone ordering huge quantities of benzos which got crushed in shipping and the powder started leaking out of the package, this was back during the anthrax scare.
But I was responding to Tukat's post about the relative risks of 60 vs 110 tabs, not 5000!!!
And practically speaking, how many of the IOP's discussed on these boards would even send anyone 5000 valium, or 5000 anything??? And even if you could, you would have to be slightly nuts to place an order that large!!!!

I used to be one of those people that thinks you only have a 1/100000000 chance of it getting seized, until it happened to me. Given it was only 50 diazapam (valium) I just got the standard love letter, but I'm guessing if I'm caught importing medications to the address again there will be serious legal trouble.
I'm still hunting hard for the right Dr, it's getting expensive too. For the time being it's IOPS which are handy, but slightly hot.
