Flaming/Flame Wars
Flaming is reacting to someone's board posting or PM in a hostile manner by publicly chastising the person or bombarding the person with nasty posts or PM's. Flaming may occur to users that engage in behavior that violates what is considered proper board netiquette. A flame war occurs when two or more users flame each other in an escalating manner that threatens to continue unabated. If you notice a flame war developing just notify the moderator or adminitrator and let them handle it. Do not take part in flame wars. If you do you will be banned even if you did not start it :-)

I was prescribed Bupropion HCl 150mg from my doctor to help quit smoking. It seems I saw a post once that this can be used for withdrawal system. I can't seem to find the post. Has anyone ever heard of Bupropion being used for withdrawal?

I think you may have this confused with buphenorphine,(sp?)AKA Suboxone which is currently 'all the rage' for rapid opiate detox. It has only recently been approved by the FDA for use in the US, but has been used in other countries for a while. My understanding is that it works well and has a high success rate, for those that truly wish to stop taking opiates. Bupropion is the same drug that is Wellbutrin, and it supposedly lowers the seizure threshold, and my understanding is should not be used when withdrawing from narcotics. There are only a few 'addictionologists' licensed to use buph in the US, and it is apparently pretty expensive, however you can occasionally find it in lower doses available internationally, usually under the name 'Temgesic'. Yes you are right I did have it confused with buphenorphine. I did have the article saved on my computer and I had to do a complete restore and I did not save that article. I did not know you were not suppose to take it if you were coming off narcotics. Thank you for your reply!
Does anyone know if it can be taken while taking hydro?
