To answer your original question----nope. You're actually more likely to come across OCs than hydro. It's a pharm company marketing thing.

well if i can get OCs with a legit mex scrit in TJ (10 miles away) it might just be worth my while.

Yes, for many many reasons. Mainly that I don't even know you, and would worry like crazy bout you. It's an international port/border city sweetie, one needs to over and wander with a group of friends on the main drag (avienda de la revolucion, sp? ) many times, before you get the hang of purchasing cosmetics, much less anything else. It's not that the Mexicans are out to get anyone, but the policia does not make a lot of money and the chances of disaster are vast.
V-A-S-T. do a search on here and google and I bet you will find stories to back me up. People over there are not that thrilled with the whole Border Crossing complications either, so waltzing across saying I forgot---won't go over.

right, but ve lived in southern california neae the border for 14 years. I speak (almost) fluent spanish. Ive been to TJ quite a few times, just never to buy meds.
and thank you very much for your concern. its great to know people arent all a$sholes out there.

you can get it. A little hassle but if you do reaserch prior, get a LEGIT mexican sript and also have a US backup you will be fine.
Not as easy as just getting 30 valiums but sure its their, wherever their is money to be made its their. If you get scripts then they can do nothing and will do nothing since they know what kinda trouble they can get into for trying to get to you with a legit script. Now if not then they have legroom but if you your docs (script etc.. ) you will be ok.
Just do your researh prior and even phone the doc/pharm prior to comming and let them know you have your presciptions.

Lots of people ask about hydro and TJ. I Don't know about the border towns and/or TJ but I fly in and outa Mexico City alot and run outa and/or forgot my meds.Mexico isn't like it was 25 years ago, when you could get anything easily. I have not had any luck finding hydro and doctors won't even prescribe it (hydro) because not many pharmacies have it and if you do find one that has it, its very expensive and will be brand US manufactured. You can get oxycodone fairly easily and easy to get a script if you show the doc you have a US script or even empty bottle with script from US for hydrocodone. Just remember don't bring back more than 50 tabs cause they are schedule II, I have declared and customs didn't seem to care. Again, this is from experiences based in Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. Easy to get T-3's also like in the old days, not OTC, but not tightly controlled either (propina). Good luck.

You will not find it(Hydr o) there. Trust me, I tried. They will give you pink Darvons in foil sample packages for a buck a piece behing the counter in some Pharmacias. They suck. Very mild and make you drowsy like T3's. I wouldn't go through the hassles of trying to hunt down OC's either. You probably can get them with a Mexican script, but even then there is no guaruntee you will be able to take them back. TJ is a scary place. As much as they love our money, they don't like us. Especially if you are a male. And if you are a male with a woman, they would love to mess with you. I don't trust them They have nothing tolose, and they make their own rules.
