Yes, for many many reasons. Mainly that I don't even know you, and would worry like crazy bout you. It's an international port/border city sweetie, one needs to over and wander with a group of friends on the main drag (avienda de la revolucion, sp? ) many times, before you get the hang of purchasing cosmetics, much less anything else. It's not that the Mexicans are out to get anyone, but the policia does not make a lot of money and the chances of disaster are vast.
V-A-S-T. do a search on here and google and I bet you will find stories to back me up. People over there are not that thrilled with the whole Border Crossing complications either, so waltzing across saying I forgot---won't go over.
