I received an order on Saturday from FedEx. The drivers statement to me was "you can relax now, your PAIN medication is here." So was it just a good guess or what? I was set back for a second and then just smiled. It helped that I'm an "old" guy and she was frickin beautiful! Also the return address couldn't be associated with a pharmacy and it wasn't COD.... I for one think it is just idle conversation for 99.9 of the remarks so I wouldn't worry. (unless you see them 2-3 times a week!). Any way I would be more worried with the silent type that you can't read.
Just my 2 cents.

Hey there simp....Wow that was a good guess on her part !
Did you look like you were pain or something Just couldn`t help but tease ya abit, got to live up to my name
Glad it all worked for ya and keep up posted okay. I don`t know if you order with the no record sites or not, if so have you seen the increase in prices for the pain meds ..there are though the roof
I just got and order myself this past Monday and will have to treat them like they are gold !!!!! My UPS man was super nice even after my dogs scared him, they don`t bite, just bark alot and are small, Boston Terriers or terriors as I like to call them Anyway he didn`t want to turn his back on them and I don`t blame him, no way I would want to mess around with any barking dog, big or little and I bet they have to put up lot all the time.
Best of Wishes,

Maybe the ups driver gets her pain meds online? Who knows.
P.S. On a different note Sassylady, Boston Terriers are great dogs. I breed American Pitbull Terriers and am a huge advocate for the breed. I bet you didn't know that Boston Terriers were devloped in the Boston area at the turn of the last century by breeding small stains of pitbulls with terriers. A little fact for the day.

Hi there again simp. Hey maybe she does, that would be cool wouldn`t it if she did order pain meds on line and you two should share experiences like that plus her being beautiful like you said would be and extra bonus for you even if she didn`t .
Yes as a matter of fact I did alot of research on the Boston`s before I brought one but I didn`t really know they had any pitbull in them, but I can tell ya the female I have is very protected of me and is like my little shadow, has to be everywhere I am She`s a real sweetheart and my male is just as loveble as they come. He is laying here in the floor dreaming as I type this and growling abit in his sleep. Funny I have never heard him growl when he is awake, only in his dreams. He`s such a good boy. I would be lost without them.
Its nice to get to know you simp, take care now and holler at me anytime, does it show by using the word "Holler" that I am a southern gal

I get my meds from United. They do stuff cotton into the bottle, but the package still rattles if you shake it. So I'm at the UPS hub to pick it up and the lady has to go into an adjoining room to get it.There's a window and you can see in quite clearly, but can't hear anything. She talks to someone who reaches into a small bin and pulls out what can only be my shipment. The guy holds it to his ear and keeps rattling the darn thing! He puts on a big silly mocking sarcastic kind of a face as I lip read him saying "Gee, I WONDER what's in here!?" rattle-RATTLE!! They all laugh and she finally grabs it from him to bring out to me. I was just mortified, but at least she didn't say anything further. Oh well, if you're going to order from OP's, sooner or later something like that's bound to happen.

Totally off topic, but when you mentioned that you breed dogs I always remember this saying:
"Please DON'T breed or buy,
while shelter animals must die"

Hello Sassy! I don't think I was grimacing in pain but I did just get out of the chair and it takes me a while to start walking normal.... she also probably thought I was waiting on her since I hurried out the door and met her at the truck. But the real reason for that was I didn't want my German Sheperd to go through the door before me, which she would have done if she saw her first. And believe me, she isn't too friendly with the postman nor delivery drivers.

I think the sheer volumes that come through fedx and ups would let people know, what with the addresses and such. What about the theft issues that has been publicized? Its all been news, plus most get email; they have back pain, anxiety, depression just like the rest of us.
Don't you think they know whats up?
I don't think anything of it. Its their job.

If a driver really thinks something funny is going on, it wouldn't be delivered to your door by your usual driver. It would be delivered by an undercover narcotics officer if what you ordered was, indeed, a problem. As long as it's your usual driver, not some different-looking individual insisting you sign for a package that doesn't require a signature, and it's in a prescription bottle, or not a tightly-controlled substance, then you're OK. There is NOTHING the DEA can do at this point in regards to people establishing a doctor-patient relationship online. Whatever the normal driver(s) seem to be thinking, it's of no consequence to you. People will always be nosey. I say to heck with worrying about the driver. Instead, I'd be more concerned about the place(s) you order from delivering as promised. JMO.

Dear Simp,
--What's a "record op"?
--If it wasn't return-addressed as overseas, there shouldn't be a problem. A lot of med insurance companies have mail order Rx companies which give a better deal. (3 month supply for only a 2 month co-pay).
--Do shippers such as UPS and FedEx have the same or similar privacy rules as in the medical profession--it's called HIPPA and it's very strict. If the shippers have anything similar, then your delivery guy maybe could get fired for even mentioning to you what he thought was in your package. I don't know for sure, of course.

Trixxie is wise on this. The less you react, the more the driver and you will come to see this as just a delivery.
It really is job security for them, and at least the pkgs are not heavy....please remember you have the right not to live in pain.
PD.

I've actually had the UPS driver hand over the package and say "what the heck could cost $200 in this little package". I thought he might already suspect is was meds, so I told him it was "Zyban" to help me quit smoking. He was like "oh, okay". I should have told him (as I think another poster already mentioned) that it's my chemo meds. Sometimes they come so early, I probably look that could be true. Still in my pjs, wild hair, and holding onto coffee for dear life.
I just wish they'd mind their own business!

my UPS driver been coming to our office everyday for years. he knows I order my painkillers online and said it's all legit and that all the info of the package is coded in the little eletronic board they carry and that they know what it is yer ordering and that at least in my particular state it's all legit and if it wasnt he'd know and the DEA would be all over them. he's real cool known him for 10+ years he says there's nothing to worry bout right now. he said the day it's illegal from a particular place or pharmacy that they'd know and the packages woudlnt even been picked up in the first place
that's just waht he said I dont know.

It also works if you tell the driver they're your meds for your sex change; and then give him a big wink. I guarantee he'll never ask anything again!

oooo! I am so mad at my Fed-Ex guy. He knows I am home every day. My office is upstairs & it is difficult to hear the door. I swear he didn't even ring the bell yesterday. I walked downstairs & there was the slip saying that they'd tried to make a delivery. This isn't even for a controlled substance. I haven't ever gone to the HUB. Don't know where it is & the slip said I should go after 5 PM & they close at 6 PM. Anyway, the reason I am mad is that it is almost 11:30 AM here & they haven't tried a redelivery. I wonder if they even will? Rats. I have stuff to do & my kids are home today. Double rats. In defense of Fed-Ex, it could've been a different driver than my usual guy. Still, I wonder if it will come or if I'll have to go to the HUB or even if the pkg will be sent back? I don't trust the bit about trying 2 or 3 times to make a delivery before they send it back.

I said this before I absolutely hate fedex. Their tracking system is whacked and they lost two of my packages, had to be traced. I prefer the other two, ups and dhl. I never had an issue with being paranoid over the packages. They don't ask or roll eyes and are very polite.

to add to this UPS guy said if anyone's UPS/FEDEX guy us being weird or a jerk then they must think they're "double dipping" his exact words. He said when U R double dipping thats when UPS/FEDEX starts taking an interest. and of course though u cant rule out the HUMAN factor , there's always gonan be soem jerk driver who's gonan try to make u sweat for fun. But make no mistake THEY ALWAYS know it's meds, they're scanned abrcode tells them.
then again that's just my opinion

Still, it's jarring to have a Fedex driver tell you what is in your packages -- which happened to me this morning, twofold!
I was expecting two packages from different pharmacies (different meds, it's getting harder to order two meds from the same NROP)....when the Fedex driver delivered them, she expressed relief that I was home to sign for the packages, because she said, and I quote: "I'm glad you're home, I couldn't have left these for you because they are drugs." AAARGH!!
Of course, both return addresses had the words "pharmacy" or "drug store" in them. Not very discreet! They were packaged well, no rattle, but -- I was rattled at the Fedex driver's remark, being I live in a relatively small town. And frankly, it's none of her business. All this does is add to the growing paranoia among OP users, and with all the busts and closings, I daresay we have enough of that already!
*Sigh*....time to take the meds and alleviate that stress as well as the pain!

You could always call and complain about the drivers conduct, they would definatly get hassled for it and probably learn a good lesson.
