Hi all,
I have been taking hydro for some time now (hydro 7.5-750, lortab 10-500, lortab 10-325) ive noticed the lower dosage of lortab seems to make me grumpy but anyways, can anyone shed some light on the subject of lorcet? I am looking to try something new other than the watson blues...
has anyone taken these before and if so what were the results...
hope you can help

try the 10/650 lorcet then but as far as generic brands go for hydrocodone watson is the best..heh...u think those are bad try the malinkrodt aka malincrotch hehe..i like 10/500 best just the right dose of acita and the highest dose of hydrocodone....they also have 10/660 which are vicodin HP brand name or eneric the brand name are much better...quali seal or value seal are a good generic too and their out of brooklyn new york....best dope around....lol...

IMO Lorcet didn't work for me...it almost was like a watered down hydro 10. I had to take more of them just to get rid of my back pain...and less of the hydros.

guys from what i understand the best proportion of hydro to apap for the best results are the 10/500.if you read in chemical review a pharmacy online mag they state this.for some reason that combo when apap gets to liver and is broken down produces a more synergestic effect on the hydro with the blood brain barrier.
also was stated that generics are only required to meet a 75 percent match of active meds as opposed to brand.some generice are above by 25% and other labs are below.thats probably why watson makes the best generics in all the meds because they go above.

i didnt know all that penny but i do like the 10/500 best 10/325 dont work as good and anything above 500 of acita starts to make me sick....watson is a good generic that malinkrodt is horrid...i think their using the seeds and stems of the poppy plant to make their hydrocodone...the left overs..heh..

thats a very strange law that they would allow a 20 or 25% difference. very strange indeed since its so very easy to measure within the microgram and once the production gets going, all the pills in that plant are the same.
another thing thats strange is: Why would a manufacturer use 10, 20% less of the drug in their pills, that would hurt them more than help them because it saves them no money to do that and comsumers would notice it. really, why do you think 5/500s are only slightly less money than 7.5/750s made by the same company? costs practically the same to make 7.5 pill as it does a 5 pill. the amount of hydro in the pill is a very small fraction of the cost. so makes no sense

I have said this before. most times the reason a given med is weaker is not due to active ingrediants but to the "manufacture" process. for example lets take baby powder. for the name brande they mill "grind" the raw pawder 7 times. brand x wants to save money so they mill it 5 times. thus they save money in the milling process but any parent can tell the differance in "cheap" baby powder as opposed to JJ brand. they same with meds. the more the process an active ingrediant the better it is absorbed. smaller particles. it can be any drug. the savings is in the processing shave a liilte here or a little there and it is chemiclly the same med but it is different in the way it was made.
PM if you want more examples
