I ordered some antibiotics from rxhotdeals and they shipped UPS. My package was wrapped up like a news paper. When I opened it they were hot to the touch. Does anyone know how this will effect the product?
While this shipping method and heat exposure were likely less than ideal, I believe that the short duration was unlikely to cause chemical breakdown in the antibiotic structure. Just my opinion.

Pain control, psychiatric care, and hospice are REAL issues.
I think you should do more research on it. Antibiotics are weird when it comes to heat, moisture and other things. You cant even take them and go into the sun!!
Maybe you could go to the online PDR or somewhere and get info specific to the antibiotic. It would be horrible for you to either have your condition get worse or get some other kind of problem due to these meds.

just another suggestion..
Just for the record, the going into the sun problem occurs because of the way some (not all) antibiotics affect your sensitivity to UV rays once they are ingested and absorbed into the body. It is simply a side affect of the drug. It has nothing to do with being exposed to heat when they were delivered.
Point being the PDR is going to tell you that any med should stored in a "cool, dry" place as heat, over time does affect the potency of any med. Generally 56 - 86 is the recommended storage for any med.
I'll all for research, but the likelihood that the probably short duration of heat that these meds received caused some kind of chemical reaction that changed them into something else more dangerous or whatever is slim to none.
Especially with antibiotics, the worst that would have happened is that they may have lost a small amount of their potency.
Just dont want to cause anyone any more money or unnecessary paranoia.
