That is a great site - I used to read the forums alot and there's a fairly large group of regular contributors. Another good free legal advice message board is PrairieLaw .
PrairieLaw differs only in that the board is more strictly moderated - no derogatory comments on posters' problems, questions, or crimes is tolerated whatsoever. (You know, no "Well, duh, idiot - thats what you get for doing xxxxx")
By no means am I saying that comments such as those are a regular occurrence at the board bhamdave gave us the link for - one just won't find them ever at PrairieLaw. If you need free general legal advice I think its a great idea to post your question at both boards - if the responses "match" you can be pretty much assured you're being given correct info.

Thanks so much to share that legal stuff with us. I was fired because of my chronic pain and my back injuries. I needed to go to my pain doctor on Wednesdays. I got epidural injections. They hurt like heck. It would lay me up for a couple of days afterwards. One day after I got my epidural, I came back to work and was told that I missed too much work because of my back and got fired. My boss was mad as heck when she found out that i had a bad back and never stopped hounding me about that. I'm sitting here crying like a flipping baby over this. Anyway, I went to the site and told my story. I hope that an attorney will call me back because this has devastated me money wise.

Thanks Lovepink! And BMHANDAVE, thanks too. Yes , the one i contacted does specialize, however I just want a few , lets say 2nd opinions as well to be safe and sure!

Dave, thank you SO much for posting this forum!! I've been trying to find out info on Statute of Limitations and readmitting to a loan after the SOL had run out. Hopefully I will get some answers as this has been bugging me to death for quite some time!!

Well, I posted my question on that board, and I must say, there are some really rude people on there, IMHO. I think I'll either try out the one LP posted or just stick with doing my own research. No reflection on you, Dave. I know your intentions were good.

Yes, there are some rude people on there, but you have to overlook them, and find the true answers.
I've never used them, but have found some answers to some questions.

I just wanted to post that I recently did a LOT of searching and reading the Free Law Advice board. I want people to know that there are just a few posters who seem to answer all the questions and I doubt they are attorneys or people qualified to answer. I was very disgusted by the way people who asked about certain criminal charges were treated as if they were lepers.
I can attest that everyday average people like myself (who underwent the humiliation of a search warrant on the 15th, all of my computers confiscated and other stuff all from the activites of somebody else) are sometimes clouded with suspicion and committed no crimes. I would very much appreciate a legal source where the advice is advice and not somebody chiming in about lying or making assumption of guilt.
