That is a great site - I used to read the forums alot and there's a fairly large group of regular contributors. Another good free legal advice message board is PrairieLaw .

PrairieLaw differs only in that the board is more strictly moderated - no derogatory comments on posters' problems, questions, or crimes is tolerated whatsoever. (You know, no "Well, duh, idiot - thats what you get for doing xxxxx")

By no means am I saying that comments such as those are a regular occurrence at the board bhamdave gave us the link for - one just won't find them ever at PrairieLaw. If you need free general legal advice I think its a great idea to post your question at both boards - if the responses "match" you can be pretty much assured you're being given correct info.
