I've tried to enter the first letter of my last name and my zip code at UPS's site...my order doesn't show up. Anyone have this problem and still receive package on time? or...?

Did you make sure that the first letter was in caps?

yup...for the moment my hands are tied -- I'm gonna try and get some sleep, resting assured that the board's consensus re. Woody's is "trust them." called UPS and they said between 9 and noon. guess i'll know soon enough!

Just FYI reference numbers have worked less than 50% of the time for me.... and the concencus is correct, If it's from Woody's, it'll be there
In addition to format "X12345" for reference number, I've also seen "LASTNAME12345", "X12345-9999" (plus 4 zip), and "LASTNAME12345-9999" all work.
But yeah, it'll be there.

Just FYI for future use, when you do your refill by e-mail, they will send you your tracking # as soon as it ships. I have always gotten my meds before 10:30 in the morning.

Did you select "saturday delivery' on your forms ? If so, and you got charged for saturday delivery, and you don't receive it, you will want to call kathy or libby and get the charge corrected. If you didn't order "saturday delivery", it will be there on Monday. One thing us long-time YOD customers have noticed, is that Woody is FAR more busy now with YOD's business going through the roof; the one-day turnaround is not quite as guaranteed as it used to be. They do allow themselves 3 days turnaround to even SHIP the meds, so you'll definetely have it Monday or Tuesday. Make sure to plan a bit ahead when it's refill time as well. I can assure you this much, and I'd bet a year's pay on it: you WILL get your meds this coming week. YOD/Woody are pillars of honesty, they will not rip you off, promise.

Howdee Daycamp... Nope I haven't found a way to do this with FedEx, and I've looked based on older shipments of mine. They do have a reference# system, but it's nothing like UPS' guess-o-rama setup, it's a long and abstract number, so I'd have to say no

thanks sonick...i did request sat. delivery...my 'sweatin it' is only bcos i'm experiencing a partial (it Has been worse) cluster of migraines at the moment. i should have planned ahead better -- summer temps always trigger my condition. but i agree with your view that the meds Will arrive. i guess i had unrealistic expectations/hopes based on other people's experiences. Should I be e-mailing Kathy/YOD now or wait 'til noon Monday to see if pkg shows?

I understand completely! I take hydrocodone for a pelvic disorder, but I do get the migraines from summer you speak of... however mine are from low barometric pressure.... they ALWAYS hit 24-36 hours prior to a storm. SUCKS!
To answer your question, yah just wait 'til Monday to see if the medication shows... YOD won't be able to affect anything now anyway since it's the weekend and the pharmacy is closed, and UPS isn't delivering. Kathy won't have any more info than you and I at this point, the pharmacy would be the only ones that have any shipping info and they're closed 'til Monday. Don't get too bummed about your expectations, I think you were completeley reasonable to assume it would be next-day turnaround as it has so often been, but they are so busy now sometimes it's not best case everytime. They did cover their butts in allowing 72hrs to even dispatch it, but I understand your rationale completely... you're approaching this the right way. I just wish I could provide you more assurance it will show up... I can tell you there are no incidents on this entire site of YoD/Woody's NOT rectifying any problems, so hopefully that will comfort you a bit until Monday! I think Monday if your meds aren't there by 10:30AM your time, you should call the pharmacy to track them, AND then call YOD support line to let them know that you paid Saturday and didn't receive Saturday. They may indicate you to take recourse through UPS unless it wasn't marked properly, but Kathy or Libby will know exactly what to do in any case, and they are EXTREMELY helpful.
Let us know what happens Monday, all of their overnight packages are priority 10:30AM to most areas, so I think you'd be totally justified in calling at 10:31 to catch up.
Hoping you feel better soon,
J

One thing I have noticed with UPS is they are getting bad with deliveries. One time my package was in route, on the truck for delivery. Well, I waited and waited. UPS doesn't call their drivers.
This happened about 1 1/2 ago my package was sent out Next Day Air Saver. By 6:30pm, with a UPS truck passing by I decided to call UPS. I got three different answers from three different reps. The one telling me "The drive has until the end of the day" When I asked what they consider end of day, she tells me "11:59pm" I laughed at her.
I told her I never heard of a package being delivered during David Letterman. So, finally I got this guy who told me they basically have until 7pm and being it was 9pm, they would have got here already.
Well, evidently the driver NEVER bothered to make an attempt to deliver it so, I had to pick it up at thye hub the next morn. So, it goes to show you that especially during the summer, where they have summer help, these drivers will screw up.

Oh yea cold, one more trick on YOD tracking reference. Try using your first letter of your last name in capwith the zip code then add the + symbol and your extra 4 digit code.
To get this, go to US post Offfice I have found that worked sometimes.

I have to commend UPS just once, as I recently had a grea experience with them. I unfortunately forgot to order my refill from Woody's one Friday and ran out of my meds on Saturday. So, I put in for a refill on Monday. They, as always, shipped it out immediately. Well, the next day, I was in the shower when UPS tried to deliver, so I called them. As I was leaving for a DR appt, they could not redeliver as I live in an appt, and they wouldn't just leave it there even though I had signed the slip. Well, after talking with them, the driver agreed to meet me at another location, and had my package ready. I could not have been happier. That was wonderful, and uncalled for, out of the realm or ordinary, great service.

final note on my UPS/YOD travails (see above): zip code on package from Woody was incorrect. package was, no doubt, on time Saturday in the zip code where it was sent to -- unfortunately, not Mine received Mon at 9am (relief!). have yet to work out details w/YOD but anticipate no prob's. thanks all for your help/insight into this experience.

YOD is beyond doubt the best OP out there, however, my problem stems mainly from Woodys. I realize that they are busy, but when I placed my order for a refill on Friday (Oct 10th), the CS told me to call her back after 3pm for the tracking number. When I called back, the next person who answered said she knew that it went out, but couldn't give me the tracking number.
It's not that I am in a "hurry" to get my meds, but I hate to wait around all day, twittling my thumbs, for it not to show up until the next day. It's nice to know about when to expect something and be where I need to be when it gets here.

What are you saying? If for some reason I was misunderstood, I work, attend classes from 1pm - 9pm, have a house and a child, and need to get some things done. I don't want to sit around blindly, waiting for a delivery. If I know that it will not get here until Tuesday, then I can head over to the school earlier on Monday to study.
I wasn't attempting go go anywhere else with this except to say that Woody's has never sent me an email when requested, I don't like to call them (it's a waste of their time and mine), and the reference number has never worked. It leaves me to just wonder what is going on, and whether further action from me is required.

The tracking # I got from YOD and Woody's is from QuantumViewNotify. The doc actually told me to keep an eye out for it and not to erase it, mistaking it for junk mail. The tracking # works fine for me... meds should be here tomorrow.
