I used to go med-shopping in Nogales myself when I was living in Phoenix and nearly got pinched. You need to be very careful about how much and what med you are bringing back with you into the states. For example, I brought back 100 butalbital and about 50 valium. I had prescriptions written for both of these (from the pharmacist at one of those little hole in the wall border pharmacies). Make sure that you a) claim the meds and b) have a written script of some sort for your meds. Another thing you can do, which I did one other time, was bring over an empty med bottle of something similar and use that. I never had problem with that when I bought neo-percodans on another trip (which are basically darvon and not percodans at all). I knew what size and shape the meds were before I went in (got some from a friend) so I brought over an empty pill case (in my name of course) that was for tylenol 3's (they look identical). No problems there. Good luck...you don't want to be doing time for drug smuggling, right?
