Stronger than CODEINE? Do you realize that codeine is what hydroCODone is made from, and that codeine, hydro, percocet, and morphine are all basically a variation of HEROIN? If you read up Codeine is just as or more dangerous than any other "stronger" meds. Codeine is what people took before there were any real pain meds. If you need pain relief, you need pain relief. Codeine is absolutely no less harmful that hydro or percs. Taking more codeine than prescribed is absolutely more dangerous than taking a more effective drug at the prescribed level. Also, when you talk to your doctor don't be scared that she will prescribe something stronger, that is ludacris. Consider yourself lucky if your doctor does care enough and sympathize with your condition. Codeine is just as addicting, and far more unrefined as the newer, more effective pain medications.
