I replied to a similar post on another thread but I wanted to add a few things as this kind of stuff causes people to loose sleep (if they aren't already doing so due to their pain from not being able to get needed meds) and therefore, I believe is an important topic.
First to start on a somewhat light note with a serious topic, Bush gets reelected and two weeks later this happens (assuming it is true which who really knows at this point). Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe the DEA was waiting to see who got elected before going after these places, knowing that Bush and a Republican administration would be much more supportive of this?
Just a theory from a Democrat who hates Bush (so I admit my prejudice).
But, it is a good a theory as any since, like I said, at this point until we get some concrete evidence (like news stories, postings on the DEA web site about recent busts, etc.) the whole thing is just a rumor.
Also, of interesting note, the COD only places are the only ones that seem to have gotten hit and they are the most volatile anyway.
If the LE singled them out, I think it is, in part, their own fault, at least based on the law as written and how they operated their business. I'll leave it at that as I have no desire to provide any information that may hasten these places demise. Although my guess is that already is a done deal; at the very least the sites, as named, are probably gone for good. Even in the past when this happened, forgetting any new LE involvement, when sites went, they usually stayed gone, resurfacing in many cases under new names.
.
Also, and this is just a "thought provoker," but there has to be some reason they were all based in Miami and were somewhat, well, "clandestine" in their operations.
So anything is possible with these places as, in case you also forget, the sites in question were around only for between 1 and 2 months in their current incarnation and many of them stopping processing orders a couple of weeks ago.....
So, I don't think anyone should panic and I still believe that even if the LE is behind this, the LE will most likely stop at closing the places down and, at worst, warning customers, unless they have some evidence of purchase with intent to sell or have names of people that they are investigating for selling hydros (or benzo's or I guess even Soma has street value) illegally and see their names on the customer list.
As I have said before, imagine the field day the media would have when they decided to bust a 75 year old woman because she was ordering 240 tabs of Hydro a month and needed to use multiple sites or sister sites (as the sites limited you to one order of 60 tabs for the most part) to control her broken hip pain because she has no insurance, etc., etc.
I could be wrong but I just don't think 99% of the people reading this that have used these places have anything to worry about unless, like I said, you were selling the pills they were ordering in which case, as I have said before, without making any judgment, but you should be well aware of the risks involved with doing so.
The posters comments about having proper medical records should the LE arrive at the door with a search warrent not withstanding, the whole point of these places where/are that you did not need records.
NROP's have operated openly (and many continue to do so) for quite some time now. So, if the feds wanted to issue a clear directive in this matter (which I happen to believe they can't without law changes), all these places could be shut down in an instant. Yet many still operate openly (show up on search engines blantly claiming you don't need a script or prior medical records, get discussed here to death, etc.) and send spam e-mail's reguarly. So I don't think any LE action was targeted at all NROP's in general and the people that order from them but just these particular COD places.
I'll close with this: I HATE THE DISFUNCTIONAL, CLEARLY NOT WORKING U.S. DRUG CONTROL/DRUG SCHEDULING AND JOKE OF A HEATH CARE SYSTEM.
Maybe if the government focused on the real problems like guaranteeing, however it is done, basic health care coverage for its citizens and stop treating drug users as criminals, there would be less need for these places.
I also still happen to believe that most people who use/used these places have some kind of a legitimate need.
