This is a story about a "friend". This person went
to Mexica via the Trolley from downtown San Diego.
Was looking for some Vicodin for chronic pain, and
had forgotten RX on business trip west.Had heard you
must get a prescription from a Mexican Doc. Went
into a Mexican Doc office right off the main drag -
payed $50.00 and asked for Vicodin. Doc said that
Vicodin is Oxcycodone in Spanish. Went back to
the US with a bottle of 100 for $100.00. Doctor also
tried to talk friend into cosmetic surgery - friend
looked at examination table covered with a beach towel,
and declined offer.
Took one Oxy on Trolley. Friend had no idea what
they were, and that they were time released. Did
not feel much pain releif after 30 minutes, so decided
to split another. Needless to say, splitting these
bypasses the time release. My friend was basically
then on a heroin like high. It was, apparently, awful. Threw up all night. Took days to feel normal again.
Friend finally found out what Oxy was (this was a while
back, so it was pretty new). Threw the pills
down the potty. Buying drugs in Mexico can be done,
but be sure you know the Spanish name for what you
want!!
