DrugBuyers.Com: Ideas on finding missing friend-possibly she was killed

The reason that I am e-mailing you is that a friend of mine and her family thinks she was murdered recently (about 4 months ago). This happened in the Dallas area (we assume). The Dallas cops won't even take a missing person's report since my friend is 39 years old.

The reason to suspect murder is a long story. The short version is that she recently was approved social security disability. I am on it also. When they decide to give you benefits, they go back a certain time and you receive the first check in a large amount. my friend got over $11,000. The attorney representing her begged her to open a checking account and not cash the check. She did anyway.

She is also involved with what I thought were Buddists. The last night her sister saw her 4 months ago, my friend was extremely parinoid muttering 'they were listening'. I have a feeling they are a cult.

I did not even know she had applied for SSD. I suggested it because she has seizures. Her sister informed me that she has been diagnosed as bi-polar (unknown to me) and that my friend attacked her sister for no reason. Her sister had a friend living with her and he was barely able to get my friend off her sister. The next day was the last her sister saw her.

I suggested a private detective but her sister is about to get laid off in December and the cheapest she found charged $400 an hour!

I never knew they were that expensive.

I have thought of calling the attorney's firm that represented her in her social security case since they also represented me and kind of owe me. I know that a lot of attorneys use their own in-house PI's

But this firm specializes in social security and accident claims and might not have an in-house investigator willing to work cheap.

I last talked to my friend about a year and a half. She was living with this guy and we got into a fight because he was beating the [censored] out of her. Her sister said he attacked her with a butcher knife and cut her hand to the tendon. I did not know this either. Her sister said that all social security mail and checks have been coming to his apartment. He has sent back the checks that have come there.

Her sister thinks my friend might have become involved with another guy that works for the City of Dallas in the sanitation department. This could be the guy that was with my friend the day she picked up the large check. Her sister does not know for sure. She thinks it is either this new guy or my friend's former boyfriend that beat her.

She was living with a male friend but was kicked out because his wife disliked my friend.

Do you have any ideas on what can be done to help locate her? Do you know any good inexpensive PI's in the Dallas Forth Worth area?
