I haven't driven down to Loredo in years. Last time the limit of on the number of scheduled drugs like Valium had been suddenly capped to 50 pills total by US Customs. I did not purchase any non-scheduled drugs at the time.
I'm going to drive down to do some sightseeing and don't intend to purchase any drugs that are scheduled in the US in NV. Could any fellow Texan tell me if there's a cap on the amount of non-scheduled drugs that can be brought back across the border from Nuevo Loredo? Does just the standard 90 days' worth rule apply? It used to be that if the drug wasn't scheduled and you didn't bring over entire shopping bags full of a single drug, Customs just let you walk back into US instructing you to pay tax on the bottle of liquor at the little booth just beyond. Is that still the case?
