My PM doc prescribed Bextra about 6 months ago for coxxyx pain and I must say it works well for me. I did find that I had to take it 3 x per day for 7 days or so before I found any relief. BTW it is very expensive (ie. 10 tablets for about $40).
The problem is my insurance company's NOT wanting to pay for them. They claim that it is for menstural cramps and will only cover 10 tablets per month! SO, I make do with Bextra, Rx Motrin and breakthrough meds.
