I get terrible migraines due to a car accident that damaged my C5/C6 disk. I take Imitrex as soon as I feel it coming on. But they are insanely expensive: 9 pills for approx. $300! Maxalt is another good migraine drug. Just tried it recently for the first time, worked great. If I take a migraine pill as soon as I feel it coming on, with a Vicodin, that usually does the trick.

Good luck to you. Migraine pain is horrible and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
