Oh, I hope your ok?? My daughter went through alot of issues with Kidney and bladder problems. She was born with it. They originally misdiagnosed her with ureteral reflux She actually had lost kidney function by the time they fixed the problem. She still has it but it only works at 10% capacity. She had cysts on her bladder and kidneys along with lots of scar tissue. She had chronic UTIS which the infected urine went back into the kidneys causing the problems. If I were you, get a second opinion (just in case). Had they surgically fixed her "valves" in the beginning, the bad kidney would be ok.
Her DR was the chief of urology at Childrens. So they can still make mistakes. Take care!
BTW, Have you ever had any kidney or bladder issues in the past?
