Paygenn999 - you're absolutely right! (And my apologies for my earlier post. It was very late last night (early morning?) when I made that post.)

I just went to the Losepain.com website and this is what they say about their Fiorinal:

"Acetaminophen 300mg, acetylsalicylic acid 200mg, Cafeine 40mg, Codeine phosphate 15mg

Fiorinal is a barbiturate sedative (butalbital) mixed with acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) and caffeine. This non-narcotic pain medication and relaxant is often prescribed for tension headaches caused by contractions of the muscles in the neck and shoulder area, and migraine.

Can you believe it??? They don't list butalbital as an ingredient, but put it in their description. Then they proceed to say it is a non-narcotic medication! Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought codeine is/was a narcotic!?!

And now that I've been thinking about this (and had a good night's sleep), I remember that about a year and a half ago, I ordered some Fiorinal w/codeine (thinking it was Fiorinal #3) from someplace I found online. It came from Spain and was exactly what is described on this website - definitely not what I was expecting! That's when I learned the lesson that even though they may have the same name, drugs from other countries aren't always the same as what we get here.

With only 15 mgs. of codeine, it sounds like this is just a very expensive Tylenol #2! (T3s have 30 mgs. of codeine, as do F3s.)

The only time I've ever purchase the "real deal" Fiorinal #3 from an OP was with the now deservedly defunct E-RXonline.com.

You might do okay by getting some plain old codeine and some fioricet. Just be careful with all the acetaminophen.
