My c-section scar goes across and my hysterectomy scar goes up and down. My c-section was a much easier recovery for me. Of course that was 19 years ago. If it wasn't for all the heavy lifting I don't think I would have had as hard of time. Mentally my nerves were shot. So many people has told me it is the best thing they could have done for themselves. I am still waiting.
