Yes I've heard of a few people saying the norco's make them feel a bit edgy and sometimes dizzy.. Is this what you mean by wierd?? Anyway, in my experience with hydro, brand names greatly effect the potency of a pill. For instance, I feel that the watson blue 10/500 are total garbage. I've never had any pain relief from them and all they did was give me a headache and make my stomach hurt. On the other hand, I've had good experiences with the 7.5 watson brand, although the apap content is a bit too high. Norco's (brand name) give good pain relief, but they seem to have some sort of filler that makes me extra tired. The watson (generic norco brand) seem to work the best, but they do tend to give headaches from time to time.. I've never had the Malenkrots (sp), but from reading other board memeber's messages, they seem to either give stomach aches or are twice as strong. Anyway, I think it varies from person to person, but never have a doubt that the medication you recive may be causing different side effect that vary from brand to brand. Anyway, a bit off topic, but ohh well. lol
