Hi folks, thanks for all your responses. Here's my update:
As of tonight, status on the order I placed with medpharmrx remains unchanged. Someone was kind enough to pm a phone number for them (I assume), but it has been busy. I will continue to try it until I eventually manage to get through to somebody. They haven't charged my card, but that doesn't mean they won't in the future (I'm too new to this to just trust them). Besides that, I am concerned because my info appears to be displaying on an unsecured page, and I would like it removed completely.
I had my appt Mon w/ the HMO doc, and as usual, it was a joke, but I got the needed papers in hand before walking out the door. Spent Mon night browsing the free and vip boards, and finally decided to go with YOD, so I got the forms from their website. Had to wait till I got to work Tue to print them out as my home printer is on the fritz. Got everything filled out and faxed all required paperwork, then waited (nervously) for some acknowledgement. When I hadn't heard anything by mid-afternoon, I called them and spoke with a very nice lady on the phone - yes, they'd received my papers, but they weren't sure they got my email address right, which they didn't (good thing I called!). She immediately set me up with my consult appt, which was this morning. I called at the appointed time and spoke with the doc, who placed a script to the pharmacy for me for 90 10/500's, they are supposed to come early tomorrow morning, per my request.
I have to say, I am soooo glad I went this route! I feel much better dealing with a reputable company, and my relief should be on it's way. I don't know what to say about the other place, but from my own experience, I sure wouldn't be recommending them anytime soon.
I will update to the appropriate thread once my package arrives. So far, I am highly satisfied with the service I got from YOD.
Getting the vip membership also gets a from me - my consult only cost $80 thanks to the discount!
