Was my order seized?
      09/12/03 02:15 AM

Due to a disability, I have to use Valuim. There are days that my alottment is not enough. It is to keep me from grinding my teeth. I posted that I use a Mexican pharmacy that I have had dealings with for several years. I send a money order only and simply write the owner's name of the pharmacy on the money order. My order is computer generated with no signatures. This has worked well in the past with no problems. It is taken accross the boarder and mailed in the United States. But it is mailed from a boarder town. I did a favor for a friend and ordered some non controlled priolosec for her stocmach. When I order the valuim, it comes in stips with pills inside which are difficult to detect by hand. However, the prilosec was shipped in a bottle.

The valuim is always shipped in an inside mailer and mailed via the post office. I never order another item. Today I got the order. The bottle of prilosec was in the package but there was no Valuim. The package did not look tampered with.

I have been unable to get in touch with the owner because the telephone system is down. This happened last month for about a week. This is Mexico.

I should not have been generous and ordered for my friend since the shape of the bottle made a pronouced buldge-but not a large one.

This is my question. Would the post office (I would assume no customs would be involved since it was shipped in the United States) have opened the orginal package, removed the Valuim and put the prilosec in another mailer and sent it the EXACT way that it would normally would be shipped? While prilosec is not controlled, it does require a prescription. My friend did not want to go back to the doctor. My question is , would the post office go to this kind of trouble for 100 tablets of valium?

It is also possible that the package with the valuim will arrive later because the shop owner ran out since this does happen and is waiting for a new Valium shipment-however there was no note to this effect. He has once written me a note when the price had increased.

So do you think that my package was siezed or I might have gotten ripped off or the guy is just out of stock?

Personally, I can't think of anything that could actually tie me to the order of valuim, so I don't fear prosecution as long as I don't go to the post office and ask where is my Valium.
