thanks for a well done update. Gee, I hope the situation does not get so bad that we can't buy pain meds (and othe meds for those who need it). Sometimes I would have died I guess in pain. It's just not fair for us to have to live like this. Inbetween schooling I used to sell medical supplies (15 years), 7 years selling pharmecuticals. The year befor last I sold the new (at the time) Norco 10/325 and I can tell you that docs did not jumb on it or display to me any indication that they saw the need for it until I showed them the flyer that the company gave us of the hundreds of OTC products that contained Tylenol. We tried to see Norco by showing the doc that in addition to the pain pill he/she prescribes the patient is selfmedicating with more than a few other OTC products like Tylenol PM for sleep, cough meds, and et al as you know. Still, it was a slow sell and they would not see the need for letting the patient have more narcotic (the daily limit is 240 mg) and seemed to like having the rate determining step set with the daily limit of 4g of Tylenol. I always failed to get them to see that it was the Tylenol that was nearly killing their patients, not the narcotic!!!!That's when I dtarted digging my own grave and I would have burried myself had I not remembered that my family needs me to not only life but to correct the wrong ideas docs have (a quixotic quest for sure) and my obligation to society to do the same: aI may not have considered myself a fireman anymore but I saw a fire and I had a bucket of water. May I never quit again!
