Legan - I don't have personal experience with this - but a friend of mine had it done. She told me that her doc had the x-ray - knew where the problem was located - deadened the area with lidocaine and gave her the "shot". She said she immediately felt better. They told her not to drive for the first 24 hours. She said the following day she was sore and a little achey - and she did take 1 pain pill that day - as opposed to the 4 she was taking on any given day just to deal with the pain. She had it done on a thursday and by saturday she said she felt like a new person. Her "shot" lasted about 4 months - 2 months longer than they told her it would. She's going back next week to have it done again. She swears these things work. And from watching the change in her - I have to believe her. Hope this helps ease your mind - and try not to worry to much. Take Care...GAP
