My Dr recently swithched me from oral morphine to the duragesic patch. I have been on the patch for 1 week now, the worst side effect was the drowsiness, and fatigue. called my Dr to talk with him about these side effects, and he called me in provigil 200mg 2 x day. I went to pharmacy to pick them up, and my insurance co. needs to have my Dr to call in to get these preapproved? For 60,(200mg) provigil was 364.00 if I payed out of pocket for them.
Anyways went on and had a partial fill of 10, and started taking them today. They have given me so much energy, just by taking 200mg. I was wondering if these are similar to ritalin?
