Ok, everybody get ready to scream, because I am going to say it again...
Purdue Pharma is mysteriously avoiding the scandal in all this. Come on, one dr is supposedly RXing what, thousands of pills per month, what did the sales rep get? An ethics call from the company?
No, probably some kind of sales contest reward and look at the human wreckage left in the wake of this.
There is no way that their sales and demand could have jumped like that and they did not know it was being diverted. At the very least they had to know that some doctors could not ignore the suffering of their pts who tried to make the med last 12 hours as heavily advertised and so were upping the dosage and prescribing the B/T pills with greater frequency.....
Now there was this arrest in Florida, in which the staff appears to have duped the PM doc and diverted his pads and triplicates away...I know in the old days there were some drs who would leave just maybe two or three triplicates pre-signed, in case of emergency. Well, that won't be happening anymore, which will make the PM patient more frantic when they finalllly put aside their fear and pride and hit the ER, and we all know how well frantic serves one in an Emergency Room.
