Thank God I am off of codeine. It is weird but for over 2 years the drug controlled me and now I am back in control. After 18 days of being Codeine free I feel like I am my old self again. 2 months ago I had suffered a major fall and had a cast on my foot and hand (second break/foot) and I was sort of excited about all the pain meds I was getting from my real surgeon (sad). I really think when the DEA showed up at my door and saw my broken bones they sort of felt like I was somewhat legit in my pain. I was taking Vicodin/Percocet/codeine nonstop. I am lucky I did not die. I am a major Klutz and if something happens again I am going to take Tylenol plain old Tylenol. I do not want to get my mind wrapped up in drugs anymore. I know there are very many people on this board for legit medical reasons. I was not one of them. My friend mom who is suffering from Breast Cancer has been crossing the border/Canada to get meds she can afford. YEA!!! A very long time ago I started a subject asking how long people will order Overseas. It always was in the back of my mind it had to end some day for me by either by getting caught or never quitting. I got caught I had to quit.....Oh well sorry about the rambling. I find it theraputic to talk about this. So few people in my life know what is going on. Good luck BadKnees You will be OK!!!
