Addiction can happen to anyone. You just have to be careful. Taking hydro holidays, like mentioned above, is always a great idea. You may be in pain during this "holiday" but in the big picture you are protecting yourself from a very vicious circle. Also it is very rare for true chronic pain patients to become addicted, tho, tolerance can be an issue. Chronic pain patients take "drugs" to live while addicts live to take drugs. Another thing, double and triple dipping can be so expensive. A lot of us have , at one time or another, done it because we have run short that month because it was a really painful month and weren't prescribed enough to last or a number of other reasons, but it is not a good idea and on top of that it is illegal. There is also the possibility of getting caught as so many ops are linked now and if caught you will be banned from using their services. I hope I don't sound like I am lecturing as that is not my intent at all. Just try to watch your intake and if possible when not at home don't take the whole prescription with you, just what you need for that day, weekend or week.
