I wish I could tell my husband, it would be such a relief. But....he's just not that kind of person. He won't take pain medications, even after surgery. I ended up taking all of his hydro after he had his gallbladder removed Anyway, not to tell you all my life story or anything...one night I was feeling especially bad - this was about a year ago when I had no pain medication of any kind, I just suffered day in and day out (as you all know that can get to you mentally pretty fast) - anyway, I kind of broke down and told him how miserable I was all the time, and what I *suspected* the main problem was (won't get into that) and how I thought I had Fibro and had done a lot of research on it, etc. Well, he got MAD. He said instead of complaining and whining about it pick up the phone and find a doctor and find out what the problem is. So....after that little gem of an incident I realized I was on my own. I found a doctor that I thought could help me and diagnose me but instead she just throws Vioxx and those types of meds at me and tells me that I'm too healthy looking to have Fibro So, starting in December I found DB and now treat my own pain. Thank God for DB and OP's and all you people. I do have an appointment with a rheumy doctor, he knows nothing of it and he won't until I have that diagnosis in my hand.
I don't mean to give the impression my hubby is a jerk or anything, he loves me very much and is typically very understanding, he just got tired of me constantly complaining how bad I felt. He's one of those people "if there is a problem, fix it dammit and quit your complaining." He would have a fit if he knew I was ordering hydrocodone online. Oh well.
