Hi! I've been diagnosed with fibro for more than 10 years. ANd yes it sucks!!! The muscles aches and pains were worse for me and now I've developed into lupus and that's a whole new ballgame.
I wanted to mainly respond to the urinary symptoms. Get thee to a urologist right away. Cystitis accompanies fibro and can be painful in itself. And there are some real good meds out there for urinary problems and you shouldn't have to suffer any more than you do. I had to be on Detrol LA for a while (you know the commercial on TV--gotta go, gotta go, gotta go right now) and it really helped me. I had been a lot better until I had this lupus flare and I got a UTI, but it's almost clear now with my antibiotics. Good luck to you and if there is anything I can do for you, let me know. Fibromyalgia requires a change of life to feel better including moderate exercise when you feel like it to keep the muscles from atrophying. Of course, it's hard to exercise when you are so fatigued. I hope you find some things that help you.
