O.K., this is a little off topic but Quan gets 2 thumbs up for his analogy of the Kansas legislature. Our rights are guaranteed, and this is not what so many have fought & died for. Not to be trampled on. This would almost be enough for me to move outta Kansas! How anybody can justify making my medical conditions public is beyond me.
Trampy,
Here, here for your sound advice to Walgreens & their pharmacist. I had one actually call my doctor and tell the doc he thought I was getting too much of a particular med. This was a long time ago at a chain pharmacy, and I'm still pissed! Too many of these pharmacists think they're doctors, and they're far to nosy. I actually complained to the Manager of the store and he SUSPENDED the pharmacist, so I know they're not allowed to go that far, but I told the guy he has no business looking up my prescription history and calling my doctor. "Just fill the F+++ING prescription!" I'm so tired of the unwanted medical advice from any putz who put's on a lab coat and a fake smile. My advice to all, find a local mom & pop pharmacy & start frequenting them. They're usually glad to have your business, less hassle, and more interested in doing what they're paid to do. FILL PRESCRIPTIONS!
As far as the phone call from the "Gov't P.I.". I wouldn't give this guy a pot to Best if kept off the board in. Anyway, it sounds totally bogus, as most Gov't agencies don't use P.I.'s.
