Re: Pain Care Bill Reintroduced

JethroMole, you hit the nail on the head! As you can tell by my recent posts, I am actively seeking and researching all of the "many and official" Pain Organizations that are advocates for the pain patient. To know that the undertreatment of pain is epidemic and finally being acknowledged and addressed is Good news for us all. This Bill that has been reintroduced, is just one of many things being done to correct the misconceptions of pain treatment and to enable us with the rights that are afforded to any other illness or disease. Yes, it's alot of reading but if we can wade through it all and add our voice and support to get a Bill like this passed that gives us the right to "effective" pain relief, it's so very worth it. To know there is Good news for those of us in pain and to know there are people and agencies working on our behalf, gives me more hope everyday.
