Chiming in to agree that meds never seem to be a problem. I travel quite a bit for work and although I have always keep a hold of old bottles from my local brick and mortar for this purpose, I have never ever had my meds checked.
I ALWAYS carry my meds with me - even when I'm going to be gone for an extended period of time (in other words a larger quantity than just a few days worth, I'm often times taking a months worth with me). I would NEVER advise putting your meds in checked luggage. Panties, toothbrush etc. I CAN and HAVE gone without when luggage was lost but man oh man, if my meds got lost that would be then end of any work product from me!
However, one time I was extended over a four week period on the job in another city and I did have to call in refills from there - I thought it would be a huge hassle but it wasn't. My ROP just sent them to the office where I was working. And since this ROP has a pretty inocuous name as their return addy, no problems, no questions, not even a raised eyebrow from the receptionist in the office where I was.
In my effort to give a heads up - when I was with NWW ANY change of address totally freaked them out and my package ALWAYS ended up at the last address they had for me NOT where I told them to send it (one actual household move and one attempt on the job, which is why I *thought* the new place would freak on it as well) - so careful with NWW if you ever need an addy change - but YOD/Woody's has NEVER failed me under any circumstance! Love those folks!
Peace -
Irie
