I should have clarified my post.

I said that I agreed with barelythere about “I think ROP’s would still be under scrutiny regardless of the NROP’s.”

The method of shipping COD has been around a lot longer than OP’s.

The shipping companies make a ton of money on COD deliveries.

From what I am reading the shipping companies are not complaining about COD deliveries, however, they are complaining about the “junkies chasing down UPS and FedEx drivers” and going into their HUB’s and causing a seen.

The government on the other hand wants everyone to use a Credit Card because they can be traced back to the cardholder. Even a gift card can be traced back to the purchaser. There is also the misconception that a Credit Card holder is of legal age.

Western Union money orders are next to impossible to trace that is why most IOP’s insist on them. Not just because of charge backs.

I find it very hard to believe that every delivery truck has 50 COD packages of medication to deliver everyday.

Lets examine how many packages the average delivery driver would/could deliver in his/her shift. For the sake of keeping things simple lets assume a 12-hour shift.

If a delivery driver delivers one package every five minutes then the total packages for one shift would be 144. Now lets assume the average number of packages delivered to one location is 1.5 that would be 216.

If 50 of the 216 packages were COD packages containing medication that would mean that 23% of the drivers total delivery for one shift would be COD packages containing medication.

I DON’T THINK SO.

I have looked inside my driver’s truck and I doubt he has 50 packages all together.
