Warning! Hazardous Materials are contaminating our planet!

If you need to dispose of your medications call us first. Do not flush or throw them away.

The EPA does not recommend flushing medications down the toilet. They are contaminating our streams and oceans. Green Peace has suggested that this might be one of the reasons whales and salmon cannot find their native breading grounds. There are also reports that these medications could also be responsible for further breakdown of our planets ozone referred to as the “hydrozone” effect. http://www.epa.gov/ozone/hydrozone

If you need to dispose of your medication login to our website www.givemeurmeds.com and we will send an authorized Hazardous Materials representative to your home to pick up these medications.

Our HazMat Services are an integral part of our Environmental Capabilities. Also referred to as Phase III Environmental Remediation.

The first step is a Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment. The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is a thorough evaluation/consumption of the present and past condition of your medicine cabinet. It includes a database search, property history, site inspection and comprehensive report.

The second step is a Phase II Environmental Site Sampling. This can include soils, groundwater, medications, asbestos, lead, chemicals, underground storage tanks (UST’s), and biological agents such as bird droppings, mold and bacteria. Our certifiable environmental engineers will sample all of your medications.

The third step is a Phase III Site Remediation. This requires a Site Remediation Plan, a Health and Safety Plan (HASP), Site Safety Officer (SSO), and site sampling to insure the remediation is complete and all materials are confined to the site or removed and disposed of in a proper, legal and safe manner. After sampling your medications they will be safely removed from your property by a designated driver.

All of our employees are Hazardous Waste Material removal experts. (HazMat certifiable) Some of our employees are just plain wasted.
