I was also upset to learn that they were actually an IOP. I had always read that IOP's don't sell hydro and took it for granted it was a US outfit. So now I not only have to worry about what kind of meds I might eventually get, but now there's the possibility of a US Customs siezure. OK, so Customs won't nail me personally but I just want my meds. I ordered on 12/7 and tried to cancel on 12/8. They said they couldn't because "it's ready to be shipped". Well, as of 12/13, the site still shows "invoice printed" and they still won't let me cancel and swear it's gonna go out no later than tomorrow. I want to do a chargeback, but I'm unsure of how to handle it without anyone knowing that I ordered meds from South America. Ultimately I have to say it's my fault. I was desperate and didn't do my homework here. Anyway, I too will keep y'all posted as I hope to at least be a help to anyone else that's in the same boat.
Your credit card co. doesn't really care what you bought or why -- the onus of proof is on the merchant. You don't even have to mention that you bought rx drugs. Hell, tell them it's herbs or natural healing crystals or whatever.
But I suggest (please) that everyone give a little time to this outfit before doing chargebacks.
Chargebacks are great, but let's not abuse the system -- or hassle the OP's too much, less they stop taking CC's. (Which they won't because the majority of people never chargeback, etc).
