I'm not good at the "quote" feature, but this is in reply to mas. I've never given my SS# to an OP (nor would I EVER). Driver's license, med records and CC info - that's it. There is absolutely no valid reason to do so; it would be extremely naive considering that we're dealing in a grey area here with places that come and go. In fact, I've never given my SS# online. If a financial institution or perhaps lending site needs it, use the phone. I can't think of any online site that in essence "sells" something that requires a number. Are you sure YPM or any other OP asks for one?!?
(BTW, your info regarding the PA stuff is extremely interesting - the inner workings of these places is amazing! Like the OPs that give you a 2 minute consult. "What do you want and how many?" I actually had one like that - didn't bother me, but you could tell how HE was getting paid).
Oh, and wynd spirit, I don't agree with you about having access to an OP via a forum, but I can understand how some may feel more comfortable with a bit of hand holding. And that's fine. Don't ever say your opinion doesn't count, because I believe all our opinions count. And friendly, constructive disagreement can be beneficial so that all points of view can be taken into account - another helpful tool in making a decision.
Fortunately, the OP I use just takes care of business simply and promptly. I prefer to have a consult, pay the money and get my meds with no drama involved. Take care!
