This is absolutely not true.

Most of this comes from an "herbal supplement" imported from China called 'Sleeping Buddha' which really contained triazolam, a benzo. The FDA banned it.

These stories pop up from time to time, usually because someone wants to seal an unknown brand of herbal supplement.

What you buy from GNC, unfortunately, does not contain any goodies- and to the best of my knowledge, never has.
