IMSUSCOT1 you are right on with that. Ive even been reading that a lot of liver specialists are of the mind that 4000mg per day is still way too much & over time will cause damage. It's not common but children taking those acetominophen (we call it paracetemol) syrups for kids in the prescribed doses can sometimes suffer severe liver damage as a result.
Luckily for us all the liver is the only organ that regenerates itself as long as there's no cirrhosis & that depends on catching whatever is inflaming your liver before that kind of damage sets in.
