Re: Shouldn't all doctors provide a script on request?

I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but there is one thing about doctors that has always drove me nuts. WE PAY DOCTORS FOR A SERVICE! Allow me to elaborate; Let's say you go to a hair dresser and request a bleach job. The stylist then looks at you and says "no, you don't need a bleach job. I'm going to make your hair red".
My point is that a lot of doctors have a God complex. They give you what they think you should have and that is not always what you need or know what works. How many times have we read on this board that someone has been told to "suck it up" or "its all in your head". Doctors provide a service that we pay for. If the service is sub-par, we have the option of firing them just like any other person who gives lousy service. We find ourselves fearing the doctor's opinion and the drug-seeker label. And rightly so!
Perhaps I am just talking out my a$$ but if you know what works and you PAY a doctor then he should provide the service that you pay for.
JMHO and 2 cents.
