Looks like you've gotten plenty of good advice here...I'm now on OC 80 mg twice a day but I remember when I first went on it how nauseaus it made me! Asking for 10 mg's w/dosing three times a day with compazine or phenergan rectally (minimall dose 25 mg's...10 mgs is worthless!!) should help....take the phenergan or compazaine about 1/2 hour BEFORE you first dose the oxy....eat at least a light breakfast THEN take the oxy...also you will get over the nausea once your tolerance starts to kickin....trust me on this... I now take 80 mg's twice a day & rarely suffer nausea...I also take break thru meds so you WILL develop a tolerance that will decrease the nausea and it usually kicks in within the first two weeks of regular dosing....this too shall pass I promise. Congrats on finding a doc that is willing to prescribe a med that actually works on pain!
